a day in the life of a seminarian.

A day in the life of a seminarian varies depending on the year, the seminary, and even the individual person. Here's a basic rundown of my week:

Monday:

7am: Wake up!

8am: Morning Prayer

8:30am: Class

10am: Class

11:30am: Mass, followed by lunch

5:00pm: Evening Prayer, followed by supper

Tuesday:

Same as Monday, adding a class at 2:15pm, as well as meetings with our formation houses in the evening.

Wednesday:

At my seminary, Wednesday is dedicated to our ministry assignments, so the only thing that we have in common is Mass at 8am.

Thursday:

Same schedule as Monday.

Friday:

Same schedule as Monday, with the change of Evening Prayer being at 4pm.

These are the things that generally do not change. Added in there are formation meetings, spiritual direction, personal prayer time, and of course, time to just have fun!
